New Zealand Fellowship > applications open now

First round applications close on 15 December for our first New Zealand Fellowship – an intensive skills turbo boost in advocacy and campaigning for leading changemakers.

The fellowship involves five evening webinars with expert presenters, and is book-ended by two intensive 4-day retreats, and kicks off on March 17.

It will bring together a diverse cohort of fellows – talented campaigners, activists, organisers, communicators and policy makers.  We’re proud that community organising expert and campaigns coach, Anita Tang, will convene the fellowship.

The fellowship is designed to provide New Zealand civil society with space to support each other and learn together – and thus winning in the major fights on climate change, job security, education funding, international aid, the rights of indigenous people, reducing health inequities and more.

Topics and guest speakers will include historical Māori campaigning, and how this can relate to creating social change for Aotearoa in the 21st Century

We invite you to apply – or encourage the most talented staff on your team to do so. We particularly encourage applications from people of Maori and Pasifika backgrounds.
