What's on top?

If this is your first edition of tCA's eNews, welcome. This month's edition has some great new resources including Daniel Hunter's Climate Resistance handbook, Brian Martin's text on social defence and a new tool for evaluating your organising organisation's capacity from Bolder Advocacy. You'll also find links to the FWD+Organise conference coming up in December.

Our Community Organising Fellowship is going from strength to strength, with renewed funding commitments and 50 impressive applications for COF2020. We expect to offer places in next year's cohort to 25 organisers in early November. Our core facilitation team will gather next month to re-boot our curriculum. Oh - and we won a national award! (See the second article below.) This is well-learnt  recognition for the 17 family trusts and philanthropists who have supported the Fellowship since 2014, creating a structured learning program for social and environmental justice campaigners. Thank you all!

Let us know if you need any help navigating the Change Agency website. It's a treasure trove for campaigners, organisers, social movement facilitators and popular educators, with a resource collection that's been evolving since 2005 (refreshed regularly!). There are three ways to search within the site. The simplest is the embedded search function and the most powerful is the Campaigners' Toolkit where you can search for online resources that match any combination of 50 tags.

Enjoy - and be sure to send us suggested links and ideas for the next edition. Happy times!
