tCA news - june 2010

what's on top

Community activism is all-consuming and addictive! The first half of the year has raced by for the tCA collective. We're all engaged in campaigns in our communities, loving the connections, the passion and the occasional win!

We've really enjoyed working this month with a state-wide disability advocacy group to develop their campaign strategy to change government policies relating to how support funding is administered. It's inspiring to work with such committed and creative crew.

The new DIY (do-it-yourself) workshop resources listed in last month's enews contributed to a spike in traffic to tCA's website. During May, we recorded almost 20,000 visitors and 12,000 downloads. If you've recently written a campaign case study, workshop outline or other community organising resources and you're keen to share, we'd love to hear from you!
