tCA news - may 2010

what's on top

Go team! We added 35 new resources to the tCA website just this week. Our work with World Vision's facilitation and education team created space to systematise our curriculum. These do-it-yourself activist education guides and resources were developed and trialed in our workshops during the last year. They're now available from our working with groups, activist education and personal development and lifeskills webpages. A special thanks to Jason and Catherine for your hard yards bringing this to fruition!

We've also uploaded Julie Foreman's fascinating case study 'Listening' based on her work with public housing tenants in Minto. Julie's reflections examine the dilemmas and challenges of working with communities undergoing crises, in this case the demolition of the homes of public housing tenants. (Download from our 'case studies' page.)

If you download and use these resources, we'd love your feedback... and welcome contributions to share.
